Glenfiddich Whisky is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned and remains the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
We have partnered with Glenfiddich over several years and across a large number of projects. From simple campaign sites to custom software API and systems integrations and most recently the complete re-design and rebuild of their entire global website.
Working alongside luxury Swiss-based designers Digital Luxury Group as design partners TCM were responsible for rolling out all technical aspects of the project including hosting architecture.

Upgraded luxury visuals
A key component of the project brief was a complete overhaul of the legacy visual identity of the brand. This included modern, fresh life-style focussed video and imagery, which is used extensively throughout the site.
Another key requirement was to create a dynamic and engaging experience. The site includes extensive subtle, yet complex HTML5 animations and transitions to provide a visually stunning modern user interface.
Smooth customised animations
The challenge was to be sophisticated, subtle and stylish yet fresh and interesting.
A combination of stunning imagery and videography combines with smooth, flowing animations to create the end result.
Multi-site, single CMS platform built on Drupal 9
The brand mandated Drupal 9 as their chosen backend platform. The platform allows multi-site, multi-brand and multi-locale functionality from within one central content management system.
Alongside the core functionality, the site also employs a sophisticated integrated datalayer analytics tracking system to measure KPIs and metrics as well as an integrated CRM platform for user sign-up and engagement.
Improved SEO, Speed and Performance
A key requirement was improved overall performance across the site.
As with all our builds, alongside the ongoing development process, heavy emphasis is paid on optimisation, speed, seo and accessibility.
The final result was a site that far surpassed the original in all measurements and was significantly superior to other competitor sites in the market.
